The new cans inside September's Juice Box

Another month rolls in and with it comes another delicious line-up of cans for you to try. We’ve got more brand new cans and vintages in-store in your September boxes.

Introducing Djuce. The new canned brand that are shaking things up. This is the white wine from their ‘CORE’ range which all come emblazoned in cute teddy-like characters. This is a Trebbiano that’s both fruity and fresh. If you look a little deeper you’ll find melon, pear, some stone minerality, and minimal levels of sulphur. It’s best served cold – maybe even ice cold, if you’re up for that. We also stock the orange, white sparkling and red wine from this range.

Next up we’ve got a brand new wine from the team at Nice for you to try. It’s a dry and crisp sparkling white wine made from the Airén grape variety. It’s a native grape which is native to La Mancha in Spain. Expect gentle aromas of apple, pineapple and citrus fruit.

Sticking with the theme of white wines, we’ve got a new vintage of Defy’s white wine in this month’s subscription box. This white wine has been organically grown and made using a blend of Catarratto and Zibibbo grape varieties in Sicily. Fresh and fruity with notes of tropical fruits and white flowers.

Candour are making some seriously exciting wines so we’d be silly not to include their rosé in this months box. It’s a blend of Sumoll and Xarel.lo grape varieties grown in vineyards an hour from Barcelona. The wine has been spontaneously fermented with native yeasts and canned without adding sulphur. It’s fresh, mineral and bright.

Next up, we’re onto some red wines and an ‘old favourite’ of ours; The Curator. It’s a blend of 4 different varieties. You notice the bolder flavours from the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Shiraz in the blend. It’s full-bodied, plush and easy to drink with dark berry fruits and woody, tobacco-y aromas.

Last but by no means least, we’ve got a new release from When In Rome. It’s a Primitivo, whose name comes from the Latin for “early ripening”. A robust, rustic wine filled with aromas of plums, chocolate and notes of fruit. Tastes great paired with tomato based sauces and Italian food.
