It’s Friday 16th December and here we have the perfect Friday night pizza wine. It’s actually what this wine was designed to be drunk with.
Vinca Organic Red
Getting the blend right for Vinca’s juicy red was a real mission. In fact, they actually launched their crisp white and pale rosé before launching the red because they weren't happy with how the red was shaping up.
Grape Variety: Nero d’Avola, Frappato
ABV: 13.5%
Country: Sicily
Tasting notes; Juicy, not too bold, and really easy to sip. The crunchy, smooth body of the Nero d'Avola gets a lift by the bright red fruit of the Frappato. It’s a match made in heaven.
The vineyards are organically farmed and are spread along the west coast of Sicily. That Meditteranean climate with the cooling influence from the beautiful coastline makes it perfect to grow these magnificent red grapes.
